The Company owns 100% of the common stock of Bank Mutual (the “Bank”) and currently engages in no substantial activities other than its ownership of such stock. Consequently, the Company’s net income and cash flows are derived primarily from the Bank’s operations and capital distributions. The Company is regulated as a savings and loan holding company by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (“FRB”). The Company’s common stock trades on The NASDAQ Global Select Market under the symbol BKMU. The Bank's primary business is community banking, which includes attracting deposits from and making loans to the general public and private businesses, as well as governmental and non-profit entities. In addition to deposits, the Bank obtains funds through borrowings from the Federal Home Loan Bank (“FHLB”) of Chicago. |
